Getting there. Graz Airport railway station is only 300 metres from the passenger terminal. Trains run from here to the main railway station in Graz approximately every 30 mins. Journey time is approximately 10 minutes and costs 1.60 EUR. A good deal is the 24-hour pass (3.20 EUR) which covers all forms of public transport. Taxis wait outside Arrivals and should cost approximately 20 EUR direct to the Hotel Academia Graz.

Located in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods Graz has to offer, near by attractions include the quaint Old Town, Graz's castle (the Schloßberg) and many others that can all easily be reached. There is a direct tram connection to the centre, which is worth seeing for its numerous historical buildings, especially from the Renaissance period. The rooms are unfussy, nicely decorated and very comfortable, all well equipped with standard facilties. The hotel also provides parking on the premises and a breakfast buffet. There are numerous restaurants and bars within easy reach for further dining requirements.
