The refurbishment is taking place seven days a week during normal working hours. However we can assure you that we are doing our level best to make sure that your stay is not inconvenienced during this time. The Lobby Bar is now relocated in the Tea Planter Restaurant where breakfast and limited lunch and dinner menu is being served.
The Mostyn Hotel was originally built as a private residence for Lady Black, a lady-in-waiting to the court of George II. A lot of the original architecture has been retained, especially the magnificent ornate ceilings in the restaurant and conference rooms by John Adam.
It is not legal to smoke in a Hotel Bedroom however we operate a 100% Non-Smoking Policy therefore if you do choose to have a cigarette it will cost you £225.00 which is the cost to us of deodourising and taking the room out of service for a night.
