The hotel was excellent value for money, and was a short walk to the Pleasure Beach, but far enough away not to be noisey. The only down size was the size of the room. We stayed in an executive family room and it was tiny. Bunk beds would be better for the children and provide a bit more room. (There was my wife and I with our 2 children and it was a squash!) Also, it was really hot and we could not cool the room down at all! Other than this minor gripe, we would stop here again. The staff were very friendly, service was spot on and the food was lovely.

Above all this hotel was was one of the best I have stayed in. The only thing that let it down as far as I was concerned was the service in the resteraunt. On one evening, the bar was closed, due to a function, so part of the resteraunt was in use as a bar area. After finishing our meal, my friend and I ordered a drink, upon receiving it we were presented with a bill for them. After paying this, we adjourned to the area set aside for bar use. Just after we had sat down, another member of resteraunt staff came over and presented us with a bill for the meal. My friend pointed out to the member of staff, that we had not actually finished yet, and would pay upon leaving the resteraunt. We were told that he had to present us with the bill for security reasons? After I pointed out that we were actually guests in the hotel, he left us in peace, and I settled the bill when we left the resteraunt. The food itself I must say was very well presented and very good value for money.

Hotel was easy to get to. We had a really lovely clean room. Our Daughter was with us and she had a camp bed which she loved both beds really comfortable. Food was lovely and staff were really friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

We recently stayed at this hotel at the Easter break we found it to be very friendly ,clean the food was great and the reception staff were very helpful. I would definately go back to this hotel we like the quieter side of Blackpool somewhere that you can have both sides of the coin busy when you want it with easy access to the Pleasure Beach but just a short tram away from the centre and equally quiet when you don't.

Hotel easy to find, but the staff seemed very young and had no idea how to treat customers, eg we ordered a bottle of wine, it was poured straight into the glass with out showing that we had received the correct one, waitress leaning across when collecting plates. only little things but they matter.

8. From: R BLINNMAN
 Date of Stay: March, 2007
When we arrived they had put two Z beds in a double room to make it a family room, the beds had been put in front of the wardrobe and stopped us getting to the Tea & Coffee facilities, however a quick shuffle of the furniture by us and there was plenty of room. The Hotel did however offer us an additional twin room free of charge, which we declined due to the age of our children. Parking very limited and inconsiderate guests that park with no thought for others getting out and then refusing to move when asked make it worse. Staff very helpful, hotel very clean, food (Breakfast) excellent, On a par if not better than the 4star hotels i stay at on business. Would not hesitate to book at this hotel again, would definitely recommend.

Can't really fault the place. The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel is very family-friendly, the evening meal in the restaurant was extremely good for the price, the drinks were well-priced.. recommended.

Just had a lovely nights stay in the carousel, blackpool. Staff really helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Quite a way to the centre of Blackpool, but if you prefer it a little quieter, this hotel is perfect. The food was excellent, dinner and breakfast. Recommend you book dinner, if you book this hotel, it is what I would call a "Bargain".

Very friendly and helpful staff. Although we stayed in a quiet period, the room was made available to us 3 hours earlier than normal. The hotel receptionist made us aware there was an online offer which for only 5 extra, provided the three of us with a three course dinner when I would have happily paid the 14.95 each list price as I had originally booked B&B only. So saving me 40 for the one night stay. Food was delicous although I could have eaten a little bit more.

Cups and spoons in the room were not clean. We needed a loo roll and when it was requested were asked if we needed it 'tonight.....'. We were not attended to when we went down for breakfast.
