Easy to find and within a short bus trip of the city centre. The room was fine with thick walls and thus well sound proofed. Breakfast was good and consisted of a minimalist "full English", toast cereal etc. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Absolute dive - not at all as advertised. Have to go to another hotel for breakfast. No WIFI - even in public areas. Tiniest room I have ever been in, moved to another room, which was dirty. No desk - traveling on business, so not acceptable. I stayed in the added on bit and walls were too thin, woken regularly by smokers going in and out. My advice is try somewhere else!!!

I'll repeat what the other reviews have said. Don't let the low cost put you off. This hotel is really good, even at double the price. my room was spacious with leather sofa, TV, new bathroom and stairs to a split level mezzanine bedroom. Staff were very good and breakfast was excellent. Have already recommended this hotel to my work colleagues

Main thing is the Hotel offered good value. A couple more pence spent on better ingredients would have made all the difference to the breakfast (full english), which was "adequate". The location is very convenient for the city centre, but it is quite a slog out to the NEC from here.

Excellent value for money. Room was massive.Only problem was that there was a lot of noise late in the night when other customers came in, and one was even buzzing the door repeatedly (2.15 am!).Don't really know what the hotel can do about that.

Only breakfast available. Limited food available outside hotel. Nice hotel on the outside but although there is nothing wrong with it, too modern for me on the inside.

On arrival the hotel looks very nice, no trouble getting parking space and its free!!! Hotel is well presented inside with a mixture of contempary design and orginal features, bar is open at your request. When checking in the night porter was a bit rude when answering questions had an accent and didnt try to speak very clearly. We had booked for just a double room but were really pleased when we realised that we had a family room excellently presented, and very clean, familyroom is ideal if staying with children, tele is not digtial or sky but has channels 1 to 5 with good picture also has av facility if you take own entertainment system, bathroom has been newly fitted has bath and shower facility excellent pressure on the shower.Didnt have dinner but we did have breakfast which was a choice of continetal or cooked, we had cooked breakfast which was really nice on both the occasions that we ate thier , morning sever was really lovley and chatty and told us a bit about the local area. If driving to dinner there are plenty of places to eat on the hagley some are well within 5 minutes walking distance. The wireless is excellent from the bar area and will pick up signal apparentley in some of the rooms but we were in room 12 which was on the top floor this is too high for wireless. My works training centre is based in Birmingham i shall definaty be wanting to stay here again as its perfect for work or as a romantic getaway as my girlfrien stayed with me and she also enjoyed her stay.

We were extremely lucky with our booking, as it turned out that their only room left was the top priced Kingsize bedroom, complete with Jakuzzi bath, and it was brilliant. Views onto the garden were excellent, and the wooden shutters all added to the ambience of the room. Breakfast was lovely, and the entire experience of our stay was superb. Every member of staff we met were polite, informative and well dressed

Great value for a single room including breakfast @ 30. Hotel is very clean and the rooms have newly fitted bathrooms. The only down points were a slightly small cooked breakfast, and a pricey bar.

Great hotel - cheaper than the Travelodge but with bigger and better rooms (our "3 person room" contained one db room and one 2x1 room, plus a lounge and kitchen area - kettle+fridge). Clean too. Breakfast was a choice between full English or continental. The bar was open 24/7, ideal for a nightcap.

The staff were very helpful and friendly and discreet. The rooms were particularly well furnished and decorated. The beds were very comfortable. The bar area is very attractive and is a very pleasant environment to unwind at the end of the day
