Description: The property was originally built in the late 1700s/early 1800s and is a typical late-period Georgian/early Victorian building. At the heart of the building, sits the traditional bar with surrounding seating. The inn has a completely separate Victorian-style 20-seat restaurant and very recently refurbished cloakroom to the rear. There is a small terraced area to the side and a smoking area at the very rear of the property.

Location Description: The Inn is situated in the heart of a world heritage site opposite the museum of iron and steel and enginuity. The area in total has thirteen museums and passports can be purchased on site. There are also numerous walks available in the area, a bike hire shop, golf courses and horse riding but still only 10 minutes journey from Telford Centre, railway station and exhibition centre

Dining: The Inn is a previous national winner of CAMRA and still retains six real ale lines serving mainly Shropshire beers. There is a bar and restaurant menu using locally sourced produce, organic were possible and most recently the owner was a semi finalist in Hardys wines chef of the year. Booking at weekends is essential.

Transportation: From Telford Town Centre take the A442 south (Queensway) towards Ironbridge. Stay on the Queensway as the road narrows to single lane and the A442 branches off to the left towards Bridgnorth. At the island go straight ahead onto Ironbridge By Pass. After half a mile take second left turn into Cherry Tree Hill signposted Museum of Steel Sculpture. Look out for speed bumps! At the bottom of the hill at the T junction turn left onto Wellington Road. Our pub is 300 yards on the left before the traffic lights.From Ironbridge Town take the road along the Wharfage, going upstream, with the river on your left. Take a right hand turn at the mini island opposite Merrythought Teddy bear factory into Dale Road and follow the signs to the Museum of Iron. Pub is situated on the right half a mile up, at traffic lights.From M54 junction 4, take second exit towards Telford Town Centre. At first island, go straight ahead. At second island take left turn onto A442 Queensway. Follow directions as from Telford Town Centre.
