Location Description: From Gasthof zur Post you can start hiking trips through the Alps (Karawanken). This part of Austria is known for its wonderful mountains and beautiful lakes. You can cycle along the river Drau for more than 120 km. You can enjoy swimming, fishing, sailing, cycling or playing tennis. For the more adventurous there is Parachuting or gliding.
In winter the most popular sports are Cross country skiing, skiing, ice skating or ice climbing. The Wörther Lake is only 15km away.
The craftsmanship of the rifle makers of Ferlach enjoy worldwide recognition. The manual skills of the rifle makers have been built up over hundreds of years to an excellent standard.
