Very disappointing. Lookd great from the outside but the rooms are very tired and in desperate need of an refurb. Dreadful breakfast - even though I was early it looked as though everything had been under the hot lamps for hours

we found the hotel to be very good but if there is one critism we have,it would be that the reception staff be a bit more cheerful and helpful as they are the window to the establishment.

Sister's entire wedding was here so was expecting great things. Hotel had nice entryway, but then was bland and Hampton Inn like. No restaurants/pubs nearby, no outdoor areas (just a parking lot and busy road). Luckily was 3 mins walk from the tram. Staff were rude. Hotel was noisy (drunk people banged on our doors at 4am). If you stay on Fri/Sat, make sure not over function room as parties will rattle your room til 1am. Bathrooms mouldy/cracked, no water pressure for morning shower and sink tap/faucet fell off. Rooms were a good size, bed great, English breakfast very good.

Although the hotel staff and facilities were excellent, the bed/mattress was very uncomfortable. Didn't sleep well at all. However, this has not put us off staying at the hotel in the future.

A missed opportunity to make a good hotel but ruined by really cheap fittings, poor food, indifferent service. No wonder it is undersold. Excellent location, good and safe parking and in the hands of more professional management could be really good.

the only problem was the noise at night by the other guests, the walls seem very thin, there were some girls in the room next to us who came in at 1:30am woke us up and started swearing and being very loud then at 3:30 some lads banged on our bed room door and woke us up again. on the Saturday night the same girls came in at 4:47(i looked at my phone)turned the radio on started talking very loudly this went on till 5;30, so both nights were disturbed. we were not best please it was supposed to be a relaxing weekend away but we were both extremely tired and we had to drive home to Blackpool on sunday

Clean, friendly staff. Only ate breakfast but enjoyed. Rooms tidy and well kept. Only flaw was receptionist forgot to order us a taxi when asked and then didn't apologise when we were 30 mins late for appointment

I was quite disappointed during my stay as me and my fiance went for a relaxing weekend - unfortunately this did not happen as the plug was too small for the bath!! So could not have a bath!! We wanted to order room service, but the phone did not work!!

The food in the restraunt was very nice. Whilist staying in the room I wanted to have a bath afterwards I could not get the plug out which was fault. We reported this to the front desk the next day and was told houskeeping would sort it ut. After we came back to the room the water had been drained from the bath, so we filled it again and again we could not remove the plug. Housekeeping came up again and we were told we would not be able to use the bath and would have to use the shower as the plug screw was bent and that this had happend in many of the rooms!!!

We were tired and stressed when we arrived and the receptionist was very friendly and made us feel relaxed immediately. We had asked for a quiet room and there were Christmas parties going on so she decided to give us a quiet four poster room. We did not have an evening meal and the only downside for us was the breakfast - it was quite disappointing. But, having said that the overall value for money was excellent. We have stayed at this hotel once before and would do so again without hesitation.

Decent enough hotel, but my colleagues car was broken into, with a number of others overnight, and it seems that this is a regular occurence. Never had any trouble with my car, but probably best to park it at the front of the hotel.

Had room service and food was never piping hot especially the breakfasts. Also for the evening meal condiments were not served with meal. On 2 occasions the breakfasts were lukewarm and inedible. The room was very dusty and in need of a good clean. The bathroom had soap running down the wall and onto the floor. This apart, the room was comfortable and i would stay again but the cleanliness is something to be desired

Felt the hotel on second look, that is past the glass and watrer features looked very tired. They were decorating while I was there. Told by other guest that they had concern over vehicle security as car had been broken into just before I arrived. Member of staff on the desk when asked about cameras and security said that they had cameras but it did not matter as they used hoods and that police were slow to respond to calls when crimes spotted by staff on camera.

Hotel now showing its age. Modern decor but now a bit in need of renovation. Some upgrading taking place during stay. Strong paint smell in newly painted room. Carvery well organised and food presented nicely. Interesting location with water around Hotel.
