Not a great neighbourhood, but close to metro and easy to city centre. Good big clean rooms. Staff seemed rather disinterested.

The room was recently refurbished but the bath was too small. Maybe the bar of soap could be bigger? It would be nice if there was a kettle with tea and coffee available. The people at Reception were very professional, helpful and friendly. I would certainly recommend this hotel to friends and family. I would also stay there again. It was good value for money. It is also conveniently located near the Metro.

A hotel providing good value and transport links just outside the Vienna "ring".Just a 5 minute walk to train and a few stops to the centre of Vienna. Plenty of local cafes in the immediate area. Free internet and helpful staff. Especially welcome was our room was available at 9.00am after an overnight train trip - a real bonus !

Place was a dump in a bad area of town. The staff appeared to bend the truth to patrons. About the only plus was the free Internet.

good : very quiet, next to the subway bad : the triple room in the photos was much-much larger and better furnished than our room . Breakfast was extracharged even if on the site they said it was included. There wasn't any rubbish bin neither in the bathroom nor in the room.

Concidering the price of the double room, the hotel is not bad at all. The staff is not really friendly and surprisingly gave us a smoking room without asking. Also pretended they know nothing about wireless internat access, but at least gave the cable for indeed free of charge internet. The room was small, just enough space for a bed and a little table with a tv. The heating system in the bathroom was awfull, too hot without any possibility to switch it off. But just for one night it was ok, and we could park the car for free just on the other side of the street.

There are no carpets on the floor, which would be essential for a three-star hotel. Furthermore, no hot water is available for babyfood except for the morning. The cleaning staff did not take away the rubbish for three days and only wiped up the middle of the room.

I was really pleased with the hotel, it was cheap, not far from the inner city, it had free Internet connection, the room was big, clean, and quite quiet, there was everything needed there. The hotel surroundings were OK, there was a Mc.Donald´s and a pizzeria, the U-Bahn station was a 2 minutes walk away from the hotel, and most of the days I walked to the centre on foot. The hotel lobby is not really nice, but who cares, it's not as if I spent so much time there. The hotel staff were a bit lazy and not entirely friendly, but again, who cares? I asked for a cheap accommodation in Vienna and I got it. I'm overall very pleased.

Nice hotel, without any luxury, but comfortable and quiet. Good choice if you just want a place to sleep and don’t plan to hang around the hotel much.

The booking had been done through Venere, and we had a very satisfying experience at Geblergasse. The instructions to the hotel were flawless. However, one needs to walk a bit through a deserted street to get to the nearest Metro stn, and one does feel that the hotel is slightly on a limb. The staff at the hotel were helpful. The hotel provides free internet service, which was the first that we saw all over Europe. A McDonalds is close by for any quick bites. Free tourist maps of Vienna and brochures were provided at the reception. We reached a few hours before check in, and they allowed us to leave our baggage and get back in time for check in. Overall, we felt Geblergasse offered great value for money.

Probably 3 stars it's too much for this hotel. The subway is very close to the hotel and some restaurants and a Mc Donalds in the area is avalaible for all tastes. Very good the relationship price/quality for people don't ask luxury facilities.

Some of the employees is not friendly at all. On the contrary they do not seem to care too much about travellers. There is a misunderstanding about the parking. There is a limited number of places and it is not possible to have a guaranteed parking there: we arrived at 11pm thinking there was a parking for us but - as the guy said - the parking was full. Thus, because in the nearby it was not possible to find a place where to park the car, we had to put it inside a VERY DISTANT garage (30e per night). To be honest, the day after another nice guy at the reception told us that there was a place in the hotel parking... Near the hotel there is a nice restaurant held by an egyptian guy, called "Don Camillo", where you can find local as well as italian-like food: this restaurant turned out to be one of the best restaurant I have ever been in my life, and it is also extremely cheap!!! It is worth going there because this guy deserves the success!!!
