From Waverly Bridge cross diagonally right over Princes Street onto South St Andrew Street, Take a left onto St Andrew Square, then take the first right. Follow St Andrew Square down, take the second right onto Queen Street, head along to York Place. At traffic signals continue forward until Picardy Place roundabout. Turn left (1st exit) at the roundabout and head down past The Edinburgh Playhouse (on your right) until you reach another roundabout. Go straight over (1st exit) and follow Leith Walk until the road forks. At traffic signals turn left onto Great Junction Street. Take the second left onto Lindsay Road. Follow until a roundabout, take the 2nd exit, following signs for The Western Harbour Development, The Element and The Next Generation Gym.
Follow this road until you reach the final block.

From the city centre:

By Public Transport
From the airport:
The airport bus departs every 15 minutes. Guests must disembark at the Waverly Bridge terminus (opposite Waverly Station).

 Excellent value especially for families or groups. The location is not central and there is alot of building work going on but we knew this when we booked and it wasn't a problem. Minor items like replacing light bulbs and providing mirrors in the bedrooms could be attended to. We encountered a problem of being locked out of the main entrance but this was quickly rectified by the staff. However this could pose a problem if reception is not staffed 24 hours a day.

 My wife and I had a very home away from home experience,its ashame we did'nt bring the kids coz the accomodations were enormous.Next time we take a holiday in edinburg we'll stay at harbour apts again. thank you very much for making our stay a very memorable one.More power to you.

 Will be great when development is finished. Ideal if you have a car otherwise forget it. Very nice new furnished apartment with fridge, stove and washer/dryer.

 From arrival to departure asolutely superb. The staff couldn't do enough for us and were always extremely corteous, polite and helpful. Accommodation was clean and comfortable and had everything you could need. Shuttle bus was a marvellous extra! Yes there is building work still on-going but we heard no noise at all. Quite honestly if you are on a visit to Edinburgh what does it matter if there is building work - Are you going to be sitting in the lounge all day looking out of the window? I think not. Anyway it does mention this BEFORE you book on line! Summing up - Excellent value for money. We have stayed in a few hotels in Ediburgh for a much higher cost and not as good facilities. We will be back!!

 We arrived (Sept 06) to find that this property is right in the middle of one of Edinburgh's largest construction sites. That would probably have put me off if I'd known prior to booking. But our concern was quickly overcome by the quality of the accomodation and the view - stunning. The staff could not have been more helpful and the shuttle bus service made it easy to get in and out of the town centre. I'd definitely recommend Harbour Apartments.
