A really good location, feels like you are in the country yet close to Shifnal if you want to find a resturant. Liesure facilities are good, swimming, suana, steam, jacuzzi, along with tennis and a 9 hole golf course.

The hotel was absolutely fine, lovely location and facilities. However, there was a birthday party/disco which was below several of the rooms and we all had to complain as it was so load and went on until 12.30-1.00, we asked if we could change rooms but the manager stated it was full. We then asked why we were not advised when we booked that there was a disco and could be noisy only to be told the party was a late booking and also it would be the norm most weeknds as they were coming into the wedding season. No consolation to us when we were looking for a quiet relaxing weekend as the hotel description promised!! Would recommend guests ask before booking if there is a party booked, still not guaranteed to be told however!!

We chose this hotel due to its closeness to Iron Bridge and Telford. The 4 of us 2 adults and 2 children aged 4 and 5 had an excellent time. The room was large and comfortable for the 4 of us. The pool was amazing and the children are still talking about it now. For the price the hotel (which included breakfast) and free usage of the pool and leisure facilities is excellent and highly recommended. We will visit again. If you intend to visit the museums in and around Iron Bridge buy the family annual pass which offers huge savings.....

Mother and 8 year old daughter...Really enjoyed our stay at Haughton Hall. Very impressed with the leisure facilities. I'm very fussy about hygiene, but had no problems at all with cleanliness. Room, pool area, changing rooms etc were all spotlessly cleam. The amount we paid was well worth it. We would stay here again.

Leisure facilities very good, and staff very helpful in the Leisure Complex. Good value hotel. Food was excellent, staff were excellent and very helpful. The only trouble we found was there was not enough staff to cover, so we were found waiting to check-out because the receptionist was also having to help serve breakfast too. Surely it would be better to employ a couple of local people to cover busy times. Also bedrooms would benefit from "welcome guide" as nothing in the room to signify meal times, opening times of facilities, etc. Also problems with PC access - very new & not working - staff not yet trained to rectify IT problems. Would be better also to make hotel non-smoking in all public areas - as you could smell stale smoke in some public areas of the hotel.
