Very friendly staff, good continental breakfast. Would highly recommend

The room we had was very small with a very small bathroom. There was no fridge in the room which is a nuisance and there was no safe in the room either. The room only had a foot stool to sit on apart from the bed. The bed in our room was very comfortable and a good size (2 singles joined together). The location is excellent as it is a 2 minute walk to 2 tube stations and nearby Queens Way has many restaurants and other shops. The Hotel is also close to Hyde Park. A good location from which to explore London from via the Tube, but you will have to buy a cool drink elsewhere.

Small room with a tiny window and only one chair in a room for two people. Very noisey at night with creaking floors and internal doors which are constantly being slammed against the thin walls. The only saving grace being that it is close to two underground stations.

Beware the "smoking allowed" rooms, they are in the basement, just above the underground train line. We thought we'd booked a non smoking double room but their records showed a smoking twin room. As they had no other rooms available, we had to stay in the basement the first night but they gave us a much better room for the second night.

Sleep was interrupted by the nosie and vibration of trains beneath on the Cirlce Line. This is probably only a problem with ground floor rooms which should be avoided

Small bathrooms, noisy in teh morning due to housekeeping staff talking in the corridors. Do not take low level rooms or be ready to be awake whenever a train goesunder the hotel (circle line). Call before arrivingand ask for a higher level bedroom.

Reception staff most helpful. I was there between a cruise and a marathon, they looked after my luggage and put valuables in the safe for an extra night while I was walking the Moonwalk for no extra charge and with much friendliness.

The staff were friendly enough however the first room i went in was not acceptable as the tv didnt work, i was then given a room in the bowels of the hotel i could hear the tube trains as if they were just below my bed,(probably were!). In the morning i wanted a continental breakfast. No problem they said, however this could not be served in my room a little inconveinient as i was getting ready to run the marathon and time was short. Overall would only use as a last resort steer clear!!!

Third time we have stayed at this hotel. Good value for money and convenient for underground and bus routes. Staff pleasant and obliging. Bathroom on the small side however would recommend this hotel when staying in London.

What more can I say, very average! Especially the room I was allocated in the basement.

On arrival we were dedicated room 123 which faced the backside of the hotel, a dark room with only a small window high up on the wall. The noise from the underground and the noise from the stairway was awful, mostly the noise from the stairway; the other customers and the housemates close to the elevator gave us no chance to sleep longer than until approx. 7:30. This room is not suitable as a full rate doubleroom, and should be rented out only as a sinlgeroom and maybe with a reduction in price. The day after arrival we asked the reception for another room and was given room 124, which was just perfect - all together we had a really nice stay - thank you!

Ideally placed for tube and bus networks. 3rd time we have visited this hotel, remains good value for money however bathroom was small. Recommend this hotel.

This hotel is in desperate need of a refurbishment (Carpets, Paintwork, etc..). However, the staff are excellent and the location and pricing perfect.
