The hotel is dated, the bathroom was tiny and shabby, I have stayed here before but it just does not compete with other hotels for the price. I probably wont stay again

We found our stay at the Imperial thoroughly enjoyable the location was excellent for our needs, the room was clean and sheets changed daily. We stayed for 3 nights but unfortunately only managed to make it down to the buffet breakfast once which was the first morning and it was superb I like my food and there was plenty of it and a wide choice so we were gutted we didnt make it down for the rest of our stay.

We visited Blackpool on a winter weekend in January! Nothing was open no shows that particular weekend, however the hotel room, the bar and the hotel in general was first class. The staff were fantastic , very helpful and professional. It didn't matter about the weather or the entertainment. We felt very relaxed and pampered after leaving the Imperial. Thank you.

The Imperial is the only Hotel that I would consider staying in in Blackpool. Not only does it provide a warm welcome from the staff but all the rooms that we have stayed in are decorated to a high standard and above all are very clean. It is in a great location very close to town with great facilities. Would definitely recommend it.

Very nice hotel, easy to find, only trouble was the very small car park, nowhere near enough car parking spaces, and the small bath. room was very clean and tidy.

Having stayed at this hotel in the past, we were slightly disappointed at how the very high standards it once had, have slipped somewhat. Things such as peeling paintwork, shabby wallpaper and absolutely filthy windows! We were also led to believe all rooms have a safe, but ours didn't. We didn't even have a hairdryer, which is common in less expensive hotels. Our hot water disappeared for 2 hours one night with no explanation, until I asked at Reception and was told "the boilers had been reset and it should now be ok." Which it was, eventually, but too late for me to have a long anticipated soak in the bath. The sink in our room was blocked but we could not be bothered to report anything else, so let it go. However, having said all that, it really is a magnificent buiding, great location and the staff are very polite and helpful, so no problems there. We would stay there again, so hope that helps anyone thinking of booking.

The room rate we booked turned out to be a very small and shabby rear room overlooking the dustbins and totally unacceptable. the reception staff were exceptionally friendly and we ended up with a spacious refurbished room overlooking the sea, but at twice the price. Breakfats were escellent. But the dinner menu looked dreadful. the building is wonderful and worth a stay for this alone, and the staff are exceptionally helpful. But it is relatively expensive.
