| | This is the absolute best value in Cannes. The location is great with good access to beaches and shopping. The staff were so, so friendly, and the room of decent size and great quality for the price. Very clean - absolutely satisfied. Air conditioning unit in room a huge plus. Owner of the hotel asked me to please post my review on venere - a good sign that he is confident of the great quality of his establishment. I would stay here again and again. P.S. there is a good Irish pub a block North. |

| | This hotel was in a fantastic location: down the block was Le Croissette and it was just a short walk to the train station and all sites. Our room was very basic, but completely adequate since we were out all day and only came back to sleep. Additionally, everything was very clean (and I'm a bit of a clean freak so if I feel it was comfortably clean most people will). The family and staff at Le Florian were the most gracious and hospitable I have ever encountered. They made us feel like guests of honour. The breakfast was simple (croissants, jam, coffee, juice) but of higher calibre compared to similar breakfasts we had at other hotels. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly to anyone as a superior budget accomodation. |

| | Excellent location for those attending a conference in the main conference centre at Cannes (as I was). Rooms are simple but spotlessly clean and very quiet. Host family are very friendly (In my case, they were happy to humour me in my attempts to communicate only in French, despite their excellent English). Colleagues of mine paid 4-5 times the rate to stay in nearby "prestige" hotels ... but I reckon I got far the best all round deal at The Florian - Highly recommended. |

| | One would almost want to keep that hotel a secret, because it is such good value. The location is very close to the beach, in the midst of shopping, not far from the railway station, and the room itself was just great. Regular Eurpean size, which means compact by North American sizes, but has everything one could want. And the bathroom has a shower curtain together with a good shower in the bathtub, and updated fixures. What more could you ask for. Next time we visit the cote d'azur, we would take a bus directly from the Nice airport to Cannes and spend our vacation there. Breakfast was friendly & served in the lobby, but just the basic continental style, which is OK just the same. Sure hope we can still get a reservation next time. |
