I must have had a budget room although it was 100. The bed was a pull down from the wall (!) and when I arrived the lock on the door was sticking which meant everytime I went in I spent 5 minutes fiddling around with the damn thing. The window was stuck open so the room was cold and when I asked reception to fix it they took over an hour to send anyone up - once I had gone back down stairs to remind them. They finally moved me to another room which was better but the TV didn't work.

Got to the hotel at around 7.00pm and there was no room booked for me, along with two other guests that arrived around the same time. I eventually got a room allocated to me at 8.30pm. What more can I say...

Television did not work - bathroom light continually flickerd - breakfast was awful the worst I have ever had in 4 years of wprking away from home - it was re-heated, tastless and poorly presented.

The hotel was very easy to find following the directions from the hotel's website. The multi storey car park was attached to the hotel and had it's own allocated parking area for guests. The non smoking double room had tv, trouser press, hairdryer and plenty of storage space. The only complaint was that the bathroom window (although frosted glass), did not have a blind or curtain and it was overlooked by an office block!! Full English breakfast and a wonderful brunch on New Year's Day was included in our 2 night stay. We also booked the New Year's Eve Dinner and Disco, again the 4 course meal was of an excellent standard. The hotel reception staff were very polite and helpful. Thoroughly recommend!!

The manager and assistant when we got there offerd us a double room when we asked for a twin room (2males shareing) and said there wasnt any available. We had to kick up a fuss about it untill suddenly there was one. Wasnt very happy about this, and he did say that on the form it said either a double or a twin. either way, we were not happy at the fact of arguing over a room.

Great room, great food and a great price! If you want a hotel with minimum distance to walk to all the amenities, bars etc in Leeds there isn't one better. I look forward to staying there again

This was a good deal, and the hotel would very nearly be a good recommendation if the back rooms werent rather noisy due to bins being emptied during the night!

Hotel was ok - quite reasonable for a city hotel. Staff was VERY helpful, which I am very grateful for. The only one thing that I thought was a negative was the car park. The hotel doesn't provide free parking, and with it being in the city, this makes it really expensive. Well, ok - overnight parking is capped at 3, but otherwise it's either street parking (which is non existent in Leeds City) or car park rates (which is alot!). But the helpfulness of staff kinda make up for it.
