Excellent value inc. full English breakfast when booking on the net. For a basic room with a good hearty breakfast I'm not sure this will be beaten on price.

Plenty of parking, easy to find on one of the main drags into Birmingham. Paid 45 for Dinner Bed and Breakfast. Having booked through Late Rooms before, i found the staff here to be the most switched on to the deal i had, as normally you have to run through your online print offs to prove what has been booked. Having stayed in the Ibis last time the room at Norfolk was much better. Its not modern however for 45 the bed was ok as was the room. Food was amicable. Overall not bad for a one night stop over.

Though the staff are very friendly and professional the quality of the room even for a 3 star hotel was not up to standard. The walls are extremely thin and as I had a very early and important speech to deliver, had booked into the hotel in order to be able to prepare myself accordingly. However I could hear everything going on in the rooms on either side of me, including what other guests were watching on television, when they used the bathroom, the content of their conversations and indeed even when they coughed and had a terrible night's sleep as a result. The rooms are small, far too tightly packed together and do not ensure the privacy you would expect from a hotel of this nature.

Room was basic and not as clean as I'd like. Food was very good. The place looked a bit run down to me. Got what I paid for I guess.

Booked two days before trip. Although the hotel is clearly dated in many ways, it is kept meticulously clean. My room was comfortable, and the hot water was plentiful. Buffet breakfast was excellent, and all staff I encountered were helpful and friendly. Only one minor down point, noise in corridors at night can be easily heard, but this was minimal. Overall, very good. There are several places to eat locally, as well as the restaurant in the hotel. Would stay again. Very handy for Edgbaston area, where I was working.

Food decent ... but menu choice for a-la-carte is limited. Room small but adequate (I was paying only 30. for the night) .It is well connected top the city centre by regular buses.

Very good price for a room including breakfast at New Years Eve. Room was a bit 1970's and not very appealing. However a strong shower and plenty of instant hot water compensated slightly after a long journey. They did allocate me a quiet room as requested. Staff were nice and polite and quite quick. Breakfast wasn't very nice but this is probably i had a late breakfast and the food had been under the lights. Would feel cheated if i paid the going rates at the hotel. Ring up for an offer or go via this website. Plenty of hotels on the Hagley Road.

The room was clean and well prepared, with usual tea/coffee, TV etc. Decor in bathroom was poorly done - tiles had been painted over and there were drips of it on the bath and toilet. Strangely no towel rail in bathroom!

The hotel was budget rooms - very small and paper thin walls! But with restaurant food - we had a really good bargain, as we were on business and only needed the rooms to sleep in, the service was good with attentive staff. Having Dinner and Breakfast in one price is great for when ypu arrive after a long journey.

Stayed here a few times, good price centrel location, however i got my car smashed in one night whilst parked thier and the responce from the hotle staff was very poor and unhelpfull, didn't know what to do. Left me clean up the glass. A shame because is actually the best along hagley road for the price.

The room was clean but the bathroom was not to my liking, the floor in the batroom was very cold and the shower dirty.
