My friends couldnt beleive the rate I got at this hotel especially that its at such a great location! Walking distance once you hop off the Heathrow Express and so many subway stations nearby. It was also real close to Oxford street and Hyde Park. Neighborhood is really nice. Only down side is that the rooms are quite small but otherwise YEAH I would definitely go back.

A very nice hotel. Only negative critism would be the rooms are not very soundproof from the hustle and bustle of outside on the street. But saying that i am a light sleeper.I will most certainly stop here again.

For the price, one of the least expensive hotels I could find on the internet, this hotel gave good value: attentive service at reception, everything you need in a room, including tea and coffee. No airconditioning in a London heatwave was a drawback. The Paddington area was safe and interesting. I wouldn't stay here again, mainly because the room was far too small, and as a mature couple, we need a bit more comfortable surroundings, since we spend most evenings in the room; the lounge area was cool and comfortable.

We stayed at Norfolk Towers during the heatwave in London this summer, and thankfully the hotel had provided a fan in our room, making the stay a bit more comfortable. I have stayedat this hotel 4 or 5 times now, and think it is the best budget hotel in the area, possibly all of central London.

We found the staff very helpful and the continental breakfast very good, the bedrooms were fair and clean but the bathroom was small and the bath was very short, certainly wouldn't suit anyone very tall. The carpet on the landings outside the bedrooms was shabby. There was no bar for a nightcap and the public bar that was advertised was dirty and smokey (suitable for contractors).

When we arrived at the hotel the staff on reception were extremely rude. They left us waiting without actually acknowleding we were there and when they did speak to us the just wanted to take the money for the room off my credit card. I was informed that breakfast was not included and when I asked for further information I was ignored and the member of staff just walked away and muttered under his breath "well is isn't included". The service we received was so bad that I actually became quite upset. This trip to London was the first for me and my partner since we used to live in the capital a year and a half ago and we had been looking forward to it for a long time. The hotel was pretty basic which I expected but I feel that if you are paying £10 a night or £1000 a night you should still be treated with respect by the 'hospitality' staff. I found using the vebere website was very easy and had not problems booking but I was disapointed by the actual venue. The furniture in teh room was in very poor condition and the TV didn't work properly. I would suggest that you do not indorse this hotel in future.

Received confirmation for room which was requested but when we arrived, we were placed in the wrong room and were not changed into the proper room until next day because we were told that there was no other rooms available. First night was spent in a HOT/NOISY room. After being moved the next day, new room was the one confirmed in our reservation and was quieter and cooler. If that did not happen, I would have given them a better rating.

we stay in room number 509..an executive room..at the arrival we ask if that was a smooking room..the employee told us that it wasn't..and he sayd that it was a pity to change our room with a standard one..he sayd that our "executive" room was very very nice..oh gosh..we open the door..and we discovered that it was small like...i don't have words to explain...it was pretty nice..but to wash my tooths..i must stay sit on the bath..so..good cleanliness..unusual for english hotel like this...i don't know if i will come again..but for the position it was extremely exellent..

When we arrived at the hotel, the clerk spent 10 minutes trying to find our booking, which he couldn't. He passed on his younger concierge who told us that our booking did not exist. Another blumber from Venere.com (first time they charge me for hotel without giving details). The staff was kind and very understandble. Unfortunatly for us the hotel was fully booked, so our double bedroom was not available. They kindly sorted us out by giving me and my girlfriend a single room, on the executive floor, which happned to be much better than expected. On our second day, they moved us into a double bedroom (we did not have to move our lugages, they did it for us). Very friendly staff at different times of day/night. Rooms are quite small and can be noisy due to the wooden floor which creaks when someone next room walks in the middle of the night. Nothing to complain about, bathrooms are all clean, all facilities included. We did not pay full price, we only paid £20/person/night. Very well located, only 5 min walk from Paddington, with a couple of buses running in front of hotel.
