The cleaning lady was stealing/eating crisps and candy from us when we where out, and she was supposed to clean our room. She did not clean anything. The only thing she did, was to make the bed. Very poor!

This hotel is the worst hotel that I stayed in. I paid 27 Pounds, and they blocked 2 times this amount from my credit card. But this is nothing... The single ensuite room that they announced on web site of hotel actually was a room dormitary with a two bed, there was no toilet inside. But the guy in reception said me before paying, "the WC is just a few stairs away from room and it is only for you", but it was not correct, WC was situated in another level and all person used it and it was dirty. About room, incredibily dusty and cover of pillow was dirty. I could not stand on the carpet with my foot, and the heating system did not work. Shower, I think one cannot call it as a shower! There is no word for it. I asked about breakfast one day before, they said to me that it is till 09h30, when I descended exactly at this time, they said it is already finished at 09h00. Breakfast means just cornflakes.I heart all sounds at 02h00 from other room, I requested from receptionist to warn that room's guests, but he answered to me that this is my responsability to knock their door.Owner and personel are Indian origin, but they do not show Indian hospitality and humanity to the guests, they are away from this nice culture, they just like money, in the first minute they asked money, even two times "money please"! I hope that Venere will remove this hotel from their list. Venere should select the hotels and keep them according to general opinions come from customers, and also staff of Venere should supervise hotels as well. As a result, I never ever suggest that hotel!!!!!! I forgot to take my digital camera, otherwise I would show here some photos to prove my claims.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed. The bedding stuffs look like being used for 10 years and never washed. The toilet is too small to bend my body (the smallest toilet in the world).

You basically get what you pay for. The people was very nice but the service, as you may understand, is not exactly the best: we had to share a towel in two people for several days, the room was not properly done and the television was not working. Luckily anyway, we got an en-suite bathroom for the price of a standard room. Anyway we had to climb over several floors to reach our room (no lift available)

This property's location is pretty well. But besides this, the facility and services are very poor. All the facilities are old and the rooms are extremely small, totally unlike what you see on the website.

WHAT A NIGHTMARE! WILL I GET MY MONEY BACK? I DON'T THINK SO. Freindly at book in @ about 16h00. Found room to be less than enchanting. Cutlery looked as if it had never been cleaned with old food now congealed with dust to make a gluey sticky paste on all the utensils and cutlery. Cupboard consisted of coathangers on the TV Support arm. Shower had not been cleaned, in fact empty dispenser bags were still in the shower cradle with bubbles on it. Bedlinnen looked soiled and un-ironed. Only 1 towel. No, not per person, per room it seemed. Had to be an oversight. Went back down 2 flights of stairs to complain. Receptionist was apologetic and said that they had had trouble with the cleaning lady, but would we give them a minute or so to fix it. Sure, we are not unreasonable people, and understanding is our DOWNFALL. We went for a long walk returning at 23h00. Upon returning things had changed. THE CUTLERY HAD BEEN CLEANED. OUR ONE TOWEL HAD BEEN REMOVED AND NOW WE HAD NONE. THE SHOWER HAD STILL NOT BEEN CLEANED AND THE BEDLINNEN WAS STILL FILTHY. I WENT DOWN TO THE RECEPTIONIST WHO HAD GONE HOME AND WE NOW HAD TO FACE A NIGHT CLERK. He corrected the towel problem immediatly and gave me 2 towels. I asked if we were entitled to a face towel as well and he became beligerant, defensive and accusing saying that we were in budget type accomodations not a 4 star hotel and I should be happy with what I got at the price I paid. In vain I tried to explain that cleanliness is not only the entitlement of the users of 4 star establishments, but of all establishments. I then explained that I was at the end of a four week holiday having made use of only budget accomodations and cleanliness and towels were a feature of all thes establishments. I then asked if he was in a position to do something about the soiled bedlinnen and he said "only in the morning" "ONLY IN THE MORNING" So, sleep on the dirty stuff tonight and perhaps tomorrow we will fix you up!  We got there a bit early, and were allowed to leave our suitcases in the narrow welcome area while we were invited in for continental breakfast, which was a bit crowded. Then we got a triple room instead of the double since the triple was on the ground floor while the double was 4 flights up which would be difficult with our luggage, and for no extra charge! The ensuite facility was an interestingly tight fit but very convenient for the price. Would highly recommend for budget accommodation. Can't beat the price (not even hostels) and the service is very decent and helpful, considering... and there was a colour TV! Close to Victoria Station, right next to the bustop for the 24 bus and close to cornershops, pharmacies, coffee shops, internet cafe etc.

When we arrived at Park Hotel, at first, the receptionist complained about paying by credit card and not by cash. We were then told that the rooms are across the road and were taken to another hotel (Orbigoe Hotel). The room we have been given was equipped with 3 beds and there was almost no room to move. We were not able to open the warderobe as the bed was so close, that the door would not fully open. Apart from that it was damaged. The bathroom was of a similar type. If you're interested, I can send a few pictures across. The breakfast room was located in the basement which was partly occupied by construction material. The breakfast itself was of very poor quality.

Very disappointing stay- room was tiny (only one bed when it was supposed to be a twin) and dirty (found 3 Q-tips in sheets). No elevator, on 3rd floor, noisy. Friendly staff was only "saving grace", but wouldn't stay there again.

On arrival, we were told we must pay immediately, despite the website stating we needed to pay on departure. It also stated that breakfast was included. The receptionist told us this wasn't the case. Having printed the hotel description stating that 'all prices include breakfast', he backed down. (He really shouldn't have bothered as 'breakfast' is a loaf of value range bread, which you have to toast yourself. Unpleasant corn flakes are also served with milk with lumps in it. There was no room to sit down, so, on the first morning, had to eat standing up.) We didn't want to pay without seeing the room and we were given our room key. The room was unmade from the last guest, complete with unmade bed, rubbish on the floor and excrement all over the toilet seat. We were told it would be ready in one hour and it was. We arrived, however, after the advertised check in time. The receptionist initially wanted us to pay in cash. He only accepted a card payment reluctantly. The room was often extremely cold - the heating comes on about 7.30pm and off again a few hours later. It is not on again until 7.30am. Not very nice throughout the winter. The bathroom would have been funny if we didn't need to use it. It is built into a cupboard-sized area and you cannot use the toilet without the shower curtain across your face. The bathroom is also very dirty-there was grime all over it. The website says the hotel is close to Victoria station - it is closer to Pimlico underground. Our advice would be to try somewhere else. Very very rubbish.

A twin room in the centre of London for just 35Pounds is an unbeatable price and you should know that you can´t expect luxury for that price. The Room was in the cellar and it was so cold eventhough the heater was on. The view outside the window was to the stinky backyard and the cold creeped inside the room from the badly isolated window and door. There was a little bathroom, but I can´t believe that it is possible to take a shower in that broken and miniature facility. We got one towl and a little piece of soap to share.Breakfast was not included in the price. And after having a look at the so called "Dinning Room"-which was the reception in fact-we decided to have breakfast at Mc Donalds. There was a Hair Dryer, a telephone and facilities to prepare tea in the room, but I don´t know if they worked because I did not use them. The TV was alright, eventhough it was not Sat TV and there were no batteries in the Remote control. The Staff is not very competent but as I already said-the price is unbeatable.

breakfast was not included in the price allthough this was indicated on the web page. breakfast consits of white bread, butter, jam, coffee, tea, cornflakes. there is very little space in the breakfast room. it costs gbp 2,50 per person. the washing facilities are very poor but clean. there is no elevator. the location is very comfortable for sightseeing because it´s very central and close to victoria station.
