While the staff were friendly, helpful and the location conveient to Paddington the beds were diabolical and the pillows like rock. On the second stay I asked for allergy free pillows which helped. There was no tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms but there was tea and coffee in the foyer. However I often drink decafinated tea or hot choclate and there was no way of making this myself. At breakfast the order for a cooked breakfast arrived within seconds. I hadn't even finished my cereal. The second day I was late getting down to breakfast the eggs were hard. It makes me suspect that a great batch of eggs are cooked and left staning until an order comes in. Some fruit or yoghurt at breakfast would also have been nice. I know it adds to the cost but it is often the little touches that make the difference.

After ten times in London this hotel is a normal Bayswater hotel. Tiny rooms - but clean and that was what we needed. The service in the reception was poor - but that is also normal for the hotels in that area. Pay more and you will get bigger rooms and service thereafter. BUT i would never pay full price for this room - so thank you [website] for making this a cheap stay.

It's a good option for the price. The bed wasn't the most confortable and the overall appearance of the room could be improved, but the rest was good.

Well situated hotel, 5 mins walk from Edgeware Road underground (thats walking at a steady pace, not running!). We got a discount through Hotel club so priced very reasonably for London. Restaurant was clean, breakfast ok, (however how can it be a full english breakfast if you have to choose between beans, mushrooms, and tomatoes?!) Room ok, triple room with a double and a single bed, tiny wardrobe! Bathroom had no bath just shower, but based on my previous experience of London accommodation, this was good. I would not expect to get better for the money.

I can only say this hotel is adequate as a place to stay. No frills. Booked a double but received a twin room which was small but as we were out most of the time not too much of a problem. Have stayed in far nicer places for less through Late Rooms so advise to shop around.

My markings above may be a bit unfair given that I was not in the hotel other than to sleep. However, first impressions are often what matters. The bedlinen and towels were clean as was the bedroom and surrounding areas although the decoration is a bit 'tired'. The breakfast was wholesome but choice was limited eg one type of milk. I would stay again but only if other accomodation was unavailable.
