This hotel proved excellent value for money. We found the hotel easily and found the situation briliant as it was away from the hustle and bustle of central or south blackpool although the frequent tram service made attractions easy to get to. The staff were efficient and friendly as were the overworked bar and restaurant staff. We were told more staff would be recruited for the summer season. No complaints. The hotel is in the final stages of refurbishment and caused us no problems. The hotel restaurant has an air of a by gone era and has a pleasant relaxing ambiance. Enjoyable break!

Dirty bathroom, had to change room 3 times due to the grottiness. Heating was faulty in one room, too hot in one and none in another. Unbelievably noisy even with ear plugs due to creaking floor boards and noisy guests. Only positives were the location and the food was passable.

Nothing was too much trouble for the young receptionist as I booked in and the staff who i was in contact with were more than helpful and they did Smile!! which does make a change.

Very large hotel. Had to wait to book in until receptionist had finished all her phone calls. No hot water at all in my room, breakfast was ok but no organisation so had to clean our table befotre we sat down. Seemed to lack quantity of staff. But it was cheap to stay there and room was tidy and fairly clean. Not a family hotel, one young girl was ignored for over 15 minutes when she wanted her hairband that was left behind reception.

Hotel was obviously grand a number of years ago, but not now. Needs refurbishing but hey can't complain for money. Most important thing was that the beds were clean and food was okay and they were. Nice receptionist who was very helpful.

got a really cheap deal, good free parking , cheap taxi into centre of everything, you can use the pool at a sister hotel for a small charge - breakfast ok but a big queue at the buffet. for blackpool though all things considered a good choice if you get a cheap deal ,( i would not pay over 55)

parking - not many spaces but I had no trouble finding one. Reception area and bar - beautiful and clean. Room ( family room) excellent size. Cleanliness of room - not up to professional standards ( and I am not a whinger!)!! Breakfast - ample choice but terribly under staffed hence items kept running out (buffet) and had to wait for refils.....

I had read some unsettling reviews about the savoy.yes the hotel is undergoing a big refurbishment programme.....But i have to speak as i find........My room had a sea view ,was obviously a refurbished room.which was lovely....jaccuzi bath..power shower. Big room in fact it was a suite...All for money wise a pittance..T,v was dodgy...I.E bad reception and no remote but i managed. Breakfast was exceptional.so much choice and quantity.although having to find a member of staff to order a pot of tea i did find annoying over 10 mins. i found the staff to be very helpful and accomadating.

staff freindly and helpful, good location of hotel conveniant for all of Fylde Coast, rooms were in process of being renovated at time of visit so some noise ,hearty breakfast with plenty of choice although it would be better with individual pot of beverage for each table, evening meals were good value for money, again with good choices and well prepared

This hotel is rather tired and in need of updating. The first room we were given was cold with peeling wallpaper and an exceedingly smelly bathroom, with drainage water surfacing in the shower! A replacement room was recently refurbished (you could still smell the paint and there was a tub of silicone sealer still in the bathroom!) but it was much better, although rather than being too cold this room was roasting with no temperature control.

I was concerned after reading other guests reviews, but the hotel room has been recently refurbished and was great. We had a brilliant experience, very pleased, although there did seem to be some unhappy guests at the reception when we arrived. We had a wonderful time and after reading other reviews we were pleasantly surprised and pleased with our stay

Although out of Blackpool's main Season, the hotel had a reasonable amount of people staying. The hotel was old but nice inside. The family room was for three people and consisted of two rooms joined together giving us alot of space with a nice size bathroom. breakfast was excellant with a good selection of cooked food and cereals.

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. It is a large and very grand place situated on the sea front. We had a double room which was a good size and the en-suite facilities were excellent. The room was at the back off the building, near some extractor fans, and there was some considerable noise when the windows were open, but bearable with them closed.
