We were two mothers with two daughters. It was very important to us to have a neat hotel situated close to the tube and to all major attractions. We were fully satisfied: our room for four was waiting for us, prepared , spacious and clean. The tube station was in one minute walk from the hotel and there was a small supermarket 24 hours open opposite the tube. Continental breakfast, that was included in price is not very rich, but quite satisfying. On the whole we were very delighted to find such a nice place to stay in London for such a good price. We'll advise anyone to come and stay in this hotel, and we'll surely return to it when in London.

Price was very good due to a discounted rate. Though the room was very small, it was very clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful on arrival, but I didn't feel so comfortable when going down to breakfast. Whilst the staff were polite, they took a long time to come to the table to enquire if I would like toast, and I was not offered tea (there was only Coffee available with the breakfast buffet).

Excellent location 3-4 min. away by walking from the Glocester Road tube station. Very small room and bathroom, but that's London for you. Mediocre facilities, but at least the room was clean and in pretty good condition overall. Friendly service. Expensive for what you get, but this is endemic to all of London, and not a problem specific to just this hotel.

Situated in a quite part of London but this area of Glocester road in South West London is a hotel city. Hotel is a exactly 4 minutes walk from the Gloucester road underground station which runs the Picaddaly line directly from heathrow airport. The wooden floors are squeaky and the hotel needs to improve on its toilets. Over all I would rate it as good value for money

Clean hotel. Staff ok - not good, not bad. Two aspects let it down. 1 - I had booked on the basis of it having a health club as mentioned in the description - on arrival the staff were not aware and on inquiring further I was advised there would be a one off 20 charge! 2 - Breakfast was poor. There is a continental offered free and full english for extra charge although when booking it only advises that "breakfast is included". Opting for continental buffet on health basis I was disappointed to discover this consisted of cold toast and jam and processed cheese slices (still in the plastic wrappers!). For the money it was not bad but I expected more due to the descriptions.

We had a separate 2 day and 1 day stay (16th-18th Nov and 19th-20th). We checked in for the first 2 days and they gave us a basement room. It was really small and one of the bedsheets even had a hole! The shower curtain was not clean! I have pictures to prove it.It seems that this room has been converted and was not originally a hotel room. When we asked for another room, they said that they were sold out and did not have other rooms. We asked for a non smoking room, but incidentally, the ladies that work at the hotel smoke right there in the basement and you can smell the smoke from the room! Our second stay was better and I had insisted that I would only take upper floor rooms, which turned out to be more spacious! I would not stay here again, would rather at the other hotels in proximity(there are a bunch of them around there)and pay a few extra bucks! The only good memories of the hotel that I have are the location, which is within walking distance to the tube. There was also a great representative that we found at first check-out who was very informative and accomodating.(do not remember the name).

The "Private Parking" is at another hotel and a cost of 30 for overnight parking! The breakfast to go was toast wrapped in a paper serviette. Overall a miserable experience.

Very satisfied with this hotel for the price! Yes, the single room was small - much like a cabin on a ship - but that's exactly what I expected. The bathroom was clean and of good quality, though not much hot water. Not a problem in May/June but might be in the winter. Didn't try to shower at night, which might have helped. Overall - great location, very quiet, very clean, good staff, loved the price!

Breakfast included - quite a deal. Small room, bathroom a little moldy smelling, light bulbs burned out. But for the quick visit it was fine.

We stayed a total of 5 nights at the Abcone. It was a reasonably priced hotel, clean, and close to the underground. The room was on the ground floor and we could hear noises from employees in the afternoon, but it was plenty quiet in the evening and at night. Continental breakfast was good and included in the price. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit in London.
