Overview: The Chester Residence opened in 2003. It is a fashionable townhouse in the West End of Edinburgh. The Hotel is within walking distance of excellent shopping, the commercial district, galleries and museums.
It comprises five elegant self contained suites. Each has a beautifully fitted kitchen and they are ideal for guests requiring space and privacy, but still with all of the benefits of a luxury hotel. The suites are the ultimate in comfort, they are ideal for business meetings and perfect for a holiday. Each suite is furnished with a mixture of antique and contemporary furniture, quality fittings and fixtures. Each day, you are provided with a continental breakfast. In addition, you can choose from a house menu and a selection of fine wines and champagne. We will also supply a supper menu for in house dining. The Chester Residence will provide everything you would expect from a five star hotel, except a restaurant. You are, however, within walking distance of many of the best restaurants in Edinburgh. Maid service is provided daily.
Rooms: 1st Floor Suite with Breakfast - This luxurious 1st floor suite offers plush carpets and huge ceiling cornices. The most remarkable features, however, are the sheer space and massive windows that let the light flood in. Enjoy views across to St. Mary's Cathedral. On chilly days, you can curl up by an open fire. The room space is approximately 93 m² (1,000square feet).
Garden Suite With Breakfast - The Garden Suite includes exclusive use of a private walled garden. The garden is flood lit - perfect for sitting out on summer evenings. The total space is approximately 70 m² (750 square feet). Views over your own private walled garden.
Second Floor Suite With Breakfast - This Suite has 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a sitting room and a dining area - perfect for a family group.
The views from the back bedroom overlook the gardens. From the front you can see the elegant spires of St. Mary's Cathedral.
The total space is approximately 1,000 square feet (93 m²).
Ground Floor Suite With Breakfast - This Suite has a classic Georgian sitting room with a wonderful mixture of modern and antique furniture. The spacious bedroom overlooks the garden. This apartment has a beautiful open fireplace, perfect for a chilly day.

Patio Apartment - This studio style apartment features a collection of modern paintings from Glasgow and Edinburgh art schools. The dressing room off the bedroom overlooks your own patio garden. Total space is approximately 700 square feet (65 m²).
Please note: the bathroom does not have a shower in this apartment but has a modern double shower instead.
Dining: We do not have a restaurant. Continental breakfast is delivered to your suite daily. We can arrange lunch or dinner at an excellent restaurant less than a 100 metres (100 yards) from The Chester Residence.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

All older children or adults are charged GBP 35.00 per night and person for extra beds.
